The importance of insurance when travelling
Most of us have had the travel bug at some point in our lives, although the ways we prefer to travel can vary. I’ve had my fair share of cheap backpacking trips, as well as a few high-class business trips courtesy of my company. However, one type of trip that is increasingly appealing to me recently is travelling with a caravan in tow. There’s something that I love about the idea of driving the long stretches of Europe with everything I need in the caravan behind me. There’s no need to look for accommodation, to deal with expensive hotels, or to set up a tent in the dark.
Yes, there’s something romantic and rustic about travelling with a caravan, and let’s face it, they can be cheap, too! Caravans are a great way to see the sights of Europe, although you may find yourself travelling a little slower than you might like. Still, they allow for increased flexibility in terms of your travel, as you won’t need to get to a particular destination by the end of a day, and you won’t need to wrestle with any of the hassles involved with backpacking or camping. Caravans allow you to travel with everything that you need, and often involve many of the mod-cons of home as well–including toilets, showers, and small kitchenettes.
